For me the outdoors is life. I was privileged to grow up in rural New Zealand, were my love for the outdoors and hunting was born. 

Hunting was part of life whether out shooting goats and pigs or off on a deer stalking trip, it was just what we did growing up and that has never stopped.

Through 19 years combined service in the NZ Army Special Operations and Dog Handler in the Police, I have learnt the importance of quality equipment. Equipment that is reliable and proves itself in the harshest environments we work and play.  

I have been fortunate to spent my working life in the outdoors from the mountain tops to the ocean floors. This has only furthered my love for the great outdoors, exploring and hunting. Now I have the privilege to pass that onto my children and others around me. 

I have always been grateful to those who have passed on their knowledge and tips about gear. Like all hunters and outdoors enthusiasts I value quality gear that I can trust in to get the job done.

Having grown up in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney & now living on the South Coast of NSW, outdoor recreation has been a way of life.

Growing up, cross country running was my passion, which saw me compete at the elite level.

That interest has now gravitated towards trail & ultra distance running. My most recent milestone in this arena was the completion of the 2022 UTMB Kosciuszko Ultra Trail 100km in 11hrs. In addition to this I have also completed a handful of charity challenges over the ultra-distances for Rios Legacy…including a 1000km run from Melbourne to Sydney in 2018; a 2000km cycle ride from Adelaide to Sydney (via Melbourne) in 2019; and a 1000km run/ride from Brisbane to Sydney in 2023.

With over 16 years of corporate sales experience, I have realised & learnt that you are only as good as the resources & support team around you ... and ultimately, the product you promote and sell. This principle is also true when it comes to participating in activities of an endurance nature.

Your equipment is a crucial ally & you need to be confident & trust that it will working for you at the end as you cross the finish line.
